Management

Bradford Cooke, Chief Executive Officer

Bradford Cooke is a professional geologist and entrepreneur with 39 years of experience in the mining industry. He has specialized in the formation, management and financing of exploration and mining companies and the acquisition, exploration, development and mining of mineral properties. Mr. Cooke founded Endeavour Silver Corp. in 2003 for the purpose of acquiring high-grade silver-gold projects in Mexico. Since that time, the Company has acquired, rebuilt and expanded three silver-gold mines in Mexico, and made a new discovery with the potential to become Endeavour’s fourth mine.

Mr. Cooke began his career as project geologist in 1976 managing mineral exploration programs for uranium, base metals and precious metals across Canada with Noranda Mines, Shell Minerals and Chevron Minerals. He later owned and operated Cooke Geological Consultants Ltd., discovering several high grade gold vein deposits for clients in British Columbia from 1983 to 1987. In 1988, Mr. Cooke launched Canarc Resource Corp., a junior gold exploration and mining company focused on exploring and developing prospective gold properties in the Americas. Canarc successfully delineated a 1.15 million oz gold resource at its core asset, the New Polaris gold mine project in British Columbia.

Mr. Cooke received a B.Sc. Geology degree (Honours) from Queens University in 1976 and a M.Sc. Geology degree from the University of British Columbia in 1984. He is a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, The Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the Association of Mineral Exploration in BC, and a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada.

Godfrey Walton, President and Chief Operating Officer

Godfrey Walton is a professional geologist with 42 years of experience in the mining sector, specializing in the exploration, development and mining of a variety of ore deposits. From 1974 to 1993 Mr. Walton worked in project and senior geologist positions for INCO and Chevron Minerals and managed the office from an administration and technical role for Hemlo Gold Mines, managing exploration, development, prefeasibility and feasibility programs for uranium, precious metals and base metals in Canada and Ireland. From 1993 to 2004 he acted as geological consultant with G.J. Walton and Associates Ltd. in the evaluation, management development and mining of mineral projects throughout North America, South America and Europe. He joined Endeavour Silver in 2004 as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Walton holds a B.Sc. Geology (Honours) from the University of Alberta and an M.Sc. Geology from Queen's University. He has published several geological/geochemical papers in leading technical journals and is an active Member of APEGBC, CIMM, SEG, PDAC and BCYCM.

Dan Dickson, Chief Financial Officer

Dan Dickson is a Chartered Accountant with 16 years of experience in the mining industry. He worked with KPMG LLP in the assurance group from 2001 to 2007, where he focused primarily on precious metals companies listed on North American stock exchanges. Mr. Dickson joined Endeavour as Controller in March 2007 and assumed the role of CFO in 2008. Mr. Dickson holds a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Nicholas Shakesby, Vice President, Operations

Nicholas Shakesby is a senior mining executive with over 30 years’ hands-on experience in mining operations, mine planning and project development as well as related executive, technical and administrative expertise. Over the span of his career, Mr. Shakesby has worked with different commodities such as precious metals, base metals, iron and coal, in a variety of locations including the United States, Latin America,Central America, Philippines and South Africa.  His work experience encompasses mining and construction with both large companies and small, including Newcrest Mining, Gold Fields South Africa, Ausdrill Pty and others. Most recently, Nicholas was the Director of Operations for Compania Minera Cerro Negro in Peru where he oversaw the development and operation of an underground coal mine. Prior to that, he was the Operations Manager at MMEX Mining Corp, where he oversaw five mines at different stages of operations including start up.

Mr Shakesby graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lubin School of Business, Pace University, New York, USA.

Luis R Castro Valdez, Vice President, Exploration

Luis Castro is a Mexican geological engineer with 25 years of experience in the mineral exploration and mining sector. He has been involved in numerous new mineral discoveries in Mexico. From 1990 to 1998 he worked as a geological engineer, project manager, and department head of the mining and energy areas of the Mexican government, including the Mexican Geological Survey (SGM) and National commission of Saving Energy (CONAE). From 1998 to 2003 he worked as an exploration manager for several private Mexican mining companies including Minera Zocalo and Minera Fuerte Mayo, and conducted mine exploration and planning for Minera Real de Panuco. Mr. Castro joined Endeavour as a Project Geologist in 2004 and was promoted to Exploration Manager in 2008. He has been directly involved in guiding Endeavour's exploration programs since that time, including all of the Company's numerous new mineral discoveries in the districts of Guanacevi and Guanajuato. Mr. Castro assumed the role of Vice President, Exploration in 2012.

Mr. Castro received his Geological Engineering degree from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico City. He is an active member of several professional societies including AIMMGAC, SEG, SME and PDAC.

Dale Mah, Vice President, Corporate Development

Dale Mah is a professional geologist with 20 years of experience in the mining industry. He has held senior positions in mineral exploration, investment research and project evaluation throughout his career, with particular emphasis in capital markets, investment banking, equity research, precious and base metals project management and valuation, financial modeling, mine economics, and reserve and resource estimation.

Mr. Mah's early career between 1996 and 2009 focused on the exploration for and discovery of mineral deposits in Canada for Cominco, BHP Billiton and other companies. He moved into more senior technical and management roles from 2006 to 2010 with Tahera Diamond Corp and Olivut Resources, then worked as a mining analyst with Mackie Research Capital and Dundee Capital Markets for three years, before joining a private equity group, Quintana Resources Capital, as VP Geology in 2014.

Mr. Mah holds a B.Sc. Geology from the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, PDAC and AMEBC.

Manuel Echevarría, Vice President, New Projects

Manuel EchevarrÍa is a professional engineer with 34 years’ of experience in the mining industry, fluent in both English and Spanish, and has many years of career history throughout Latin America. Mr. EchevarrÍa worked as a project engineer from 1983 to 1989 for P&V Engineers on a major underground mine expansion for Milpo in Peru, then moved to Fima SA where he designed plant equipment until 1992. Subsequently, he was the Engineering Manager for SNC Lavalin, and held project management roles in Bechtel, Svedala, Requisite Technology, Pan American, Fluor and Ausenco until 2010, working on large mine and plant projects such as Tamboraque, Tintaya, Pierina, Santa Luisa, Cajamarquilla, Iscaycruz, Ares, Antamina, Morococha, Cerro Verde, Oyu Tolgoi, Fort Hills, Escondida and others. From 2010 to 2015, Manuel was the Project Manager of the Toromocho project for Chinalco and General Manager of Cal del Centro (Chinalco’s subsidiary) and since 2013, he has been Director of Gold Projects for Ma’aden in charge of developing the Mansorah Mansourah and Ad Duwayhi gold mine projects in Saudi Arabia.

Mr. EchevarrÍa graduated with a B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering in 1984 from the National University of Engineering in Lima Peru and received an MBA from IE Business School in Spain in 2007.

Christine West, Vice President, Controller

Christine West is a CPA, CGA with 20 years of experience in the mining/resource industry and has held the position of Controller for Endeavour Silver Corp. since March 2008. Prior to her involvement with Endeavour, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Portal Resources Corp., the Corporate Controller for Nevada Pacific Gold and Manager, Client Services with Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd., a private financial consulting services company where she was responsible for the financial reporting and cash management and control for various public and private clients in a variety of industries. Ms. West is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

Galina Meleger, Director, Investor Relations

Galina Meleger is an Investor Relations and Corporate Communications professional with over 10 years's diverse experience for publicly traded companies in the resource sector. Prior to joining Endeavour Silver, Ms. Meleger worked for Newmarket Gold and subsequently Kirkland Lake Gold, as a result of a business combination to form a mid-tier gold mining company with underground gold mines in Canada & Australia, where she was Director of Corporate Communications. Prior to that, Galina worked for KGHM, a Polish based major mining company, in a communications role overseeing the North and South American division, comprising of six mines and three development projects. From 2010 to 2015, Galina worked for Copper Mountain Mining, responsible for investor relations and corporate communications. Galina studied at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), completing a Business Diploma in Financial Management and is a licensed Corporate Social Responsibility practitioner.

Lorena Aguilar, Director, Human Resources

Lorena Aguilar is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience with extensive training in Human Resources in both Canada and Mexico. Lorena has worked in IT, telecommunications, medical and mining industries throughout Mexico and Canada. She has been working with Endeavour for over 10 years in increasingly senior roles. Prior to Endeavour, she worked for Viceroy Exploration, Telefonica (a Spanish broadband and telecommunications provider), AT&T and Harvard Health Care (a Mexican-American company dedicated to medical services). Lorena obtained her CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) in 2010 and holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Psychology. Lorena is also a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources in British Columbia, Canada.

Miguel Ordaz, Mexico Projects Director and Legal Representative, Mexico

Miguel Ordaz is a geological engineer with over 31 years of experience in mineral exploration and mine management in Mexico. From 1972 to 1991 he worked as geological engineer, project manager, department head and branch director for various branches of the Mexican government, including the geological survey (CRM), non-metallic minerals commission (FMNMM), uranium branch and mines commission (COFOMI). From 1991 to 1994 he was Director of COFOMI in Chihuahua and Guanaceví, responsible for facilitating small to medium scale mining through investment, exploration, beneficiation, commercialization and industrial studies.

Between 1994 and 2003 Mr. Ordaz worked as a mining consultant, exploration manager and general manager for Mexican mining companies including advanced exploration projects for Minera Fuerte Mayo and mine exploration, development and operations for Real de Panuco.

Mr. Ordaz has been with Endeavour since 2003 as Projects Director and legal representative for Endeavour in Mexico, responsible for evaluating dozens of exploration and mining projects, and introducing Endeavour to the Santa Cruz silver mine and Guanaceví process plant.

Mr. Ordaz holds a Geological Engineering degree from the Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico City and a Prospecting and a Structural Geology degree from the Universidad de Guanajuato.
